Description from the seller
Marina, acrylic on MDF 50x50, unique piece, modern, colorful, entirely hand-painted by the artist Sebastiano Plutino. Certified with the artist’s signature and stamp.
Sebastiano Plutino (Reggio Calabria, June 20, 1973) is an Italian painter and contemporary artist.
After studying at the Art High School “Mattia Preti” in Reggio Calabria, he devoted himself entirely to painting, developing a personal stylistic signature that fuses figurative and informal elements.
His work is characterized by a particular sensitivity to the sea, nature and the Mediterranean culture: his “seascapes” evoke meditative atmospheres, often dominated by bright skies, wide horizons and waters in constant movement, in a painting that conveys suggestion and introspection.
Alongside seascapes, Plutino creates portraits — often of female figures — and informal landscapes, using oils, enamels and acrylics on board or MDF, with decisive brushstrokes and dense, meaningful color stratifications.
His career includes numerous solo and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad: his works have been shown in galleries such as Galleria ArteToma (Reggio Calabria), OnArt Gallery (Florence), Galleria Serraino (Reggio Calabria) and in events such as ArtePadova and PaviArt."
