πJS aka Stephen Joannon (Artist, Gallerist, Exhibition curator, Music critic…)
Versatile visual artist and transmitter of forms, presents ROBBIT: a series of vividly colored sculptures, a mischievous homage to the worlds of Barry Flanagan, Jeff Koons and Kaws, lulled by the electronic motifs of Herbie Hancock — in particular Rockit (1983), from which its name is derived. Created in Tourrettes-sur-Loup in collaboration with an exceptional craftsman, the collection features four silhouettes, each subsequently hand-painted in strictly unique variations.
A poem of metal and matter, ROBBIT blends pop audacity with playful sweetness: a sculptural presence that strikes with its chromatic optimism and visual melody. These pieces, designed to cross gazes and complete contemporary collections, are produced in limited editions — an invitation to seize the work before its disappearance.
