L.U.C. Lepine pocket watch, reference 63521, dating from circa 1895–1910, with a solid .800 silver case in a Galonné finish, white enamel dial with Roman numerals, hand-wound movement with 15 jewels, 51 mm diameter and 81.29 g, in very good condition with light wear and in working order.
Description from the seller
Very beautiful and authentic antique pocket watch from the prestigious house L.U.C. (Louis-Ulysse Chopard). This specimen dates from around the turn of the century (c. 1895-1910) and is in splendid original condition.
Features:
Brand: L.U.C. (Louis-Ulysse Chopard)
Country of origin: Switzerland (Sonvilier)
Material: Solid .800 silver case with a "Galonné" finish (a subtle rose-gold gilded edge).
Dial: Classic white enamel with Roman numerals and a recessed seconds hand at the 6 o'clock position. Ornate gold hands in Louis XIV style.
Movement: High-quality mechanical movement with 15 jewels. Equipped with an Ancre Ligne Droite (straight-line escapement) and a Breguet hairspring for increased precision.
Hallmarks: The inside of the case bears the official L.U.C. trademark (bee with bees), the silver hallmark (Korhoen) and the serial number 147524 (matching on case and movement).
Condition:
Case: Good antique condition with light signs of wear appropriate to its age. No major dents.
Dial: intact, the glass has a few small scratches
Operation: Runs very well!
