Antique silver pocket watch by Orologio Antico in 93.5% pure Argento 935, with a 38 mm filigree case, manual winding movement, 1850–1900 period, weight 45 g with chain (40.5 g for the watch alone), in good condition with visible signs of wear and the movement in working order, shipped insured.
Description from the seller
Truly stunning pocket watch, with a case in Filigree Silver (93.5% purity). The case features wonderful floral-themed workmanship, very thick and also worked on the sides with splendid filigree interweaving.
A dial that evokes fairy-tale watches and old animated films, with enamel decorations and gold.
Some signs of wear on the thick Rock Crystal protecting the dial, visible in the photos, but apart from a small scratch right at the center, still only visible from certain angles; the others are on the side edges, and therefore not on the protective glass layer, and anyway not compromising and visible in the photo.
Small silver chain with a key for adjusting the hands.
The key for winding the watch is not present, but I personally tested its operation with my universal key and the watch is functioning and requires a No. 5 key for winding (they can be found in watch shops for a maximum of 5/10 euros, but also on the web).
Regarding operation, the watch runs well but since it has not been tested over the long term it might require lubrication and cleaning to optimize performance.
45 grams is the weight of the watch plus the chain and key.
The watch alone weighs 40.5 grams.
A splendor with five separate bridges in the movement, datable to around the mid-1800s.
Double silver doors (case) in 935 silver.
