Description from the seller
Oil painting on canvas, handmade, with ultrafine pigments, supplied with certificate of authenticity
Giuseppe Sassone. - Italian artist (born Avellino 1985). Lives and works in Sperone (AV). For a short period, he studied Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts of Naples.
In the poetic evidentness of the images he represents, he skillfully interprets the qualities of man; the works realized with great technical finesse explore contemporary subjectivity.
Sassone allucinates the images of his subjects to discern their complex genesis and read their character.
These subjective fragments, mostly feminine, are decontextualized and recoded by the artist with an analytic and reflective intent, so as to evoke those casual moments of our existence (moral, feelings, truth).
Over the years he has participated in various national and international events, exhibiting in places such as Villa Vannucchi (San Giorgio a Cremano, Naples), ARCOS Museum (Benevento), Castello Sforzesco of Acaya (Lecce), Incontri Palace (Rome), Campana Foundation of the Fallen (Rovereto), Carlo Gesualdo Theater (Avellino), Ex Convent of the Black Franciscans of Specchia (Lecce), Ex GIL (Rome).
