Alexander Jarque presents A&S01 - XL - (No Reserve), a unique original mixed-media work on canvas (oil, acrylic, aerosol, ink, enamels, charcoal and marker) in an architecture and space abstraction, signed by hand and dated, produced in Spain after 2020, sold directly from the artist and delivered rolled in PVC without a frame, measuring 101 cm high by 132 cm wide and in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
One-of-a-kind and original work sold directly from the Artist's studio.
A&S01 (Architecture & Space)
The lines (just like the contrails left by planes in the sky) fragment space, creating new spaces in turn.
An abstract representation of the contemporary landscape: fragmented, saturated with stimuli, full of visual layers and resonances. One could say it symbolizes communication or the movement between different dimensions —perhaps between the inner and the outer, or between the physical world and the mental world—.
In the end, they are all windows.
Alexander Jarque is a Spanish painter and designer born in Plasencia in 1986. He holds a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Salamanca, with scholarships in Milan, Madrid and later a Leonardo da Vinci Scholarship in Parma. He has worked as a drawing and painting teacher at various public and private institutions.
Jarque has held several solo exhibitions in Italy, specifically in Milan, Bari and Emilia-Romagna, and numerous group shows in various Spanish cities such as Salamanca, Plasencia, Málaga and Madrid, as well as internationally at the BAF (Bergamo Arte Fiera) and at the “Museum of the Americas” in Miami.
Part of his work has been acquired by public and private collections in Spain, Italy, Poland, Romania, Denmark, the USA, Germany, Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Slovenia, Estonia, Greece, Finland...
According to the artist, his latest works “simulate how enriching modern life is, dual reality, ‘the interface’ within a strict framework of multiple perspectives.”
Mixed media (oil, acrylic, ink and enamels) on canvas.
The work is delivered rolled in professional PVC packaging, unstretched. Signed and dated. Alongside it you will find a certificate attesting to the authenticity of the piece.
The indicated dimensions refer to the size of the canvas once placed on the stretcher; the fabric has an unpainted area for mounting that ranges between 3 and 4 cm.
