Description from the seller
ATTENTION
THIS IS A REAL ORIGINAL PAINTING, NO IA, NO ONE-OF-A-KIND UNIQUE PRINT-TECHNIQUE IN THE WORLD, TEXTURE AND RELIEF UP TO 1 CM, therefore a completely different view depending on the spectator's angle
PopLéa is much more than an artist's name — it is a carefully guarded pseudonym behind which lies a major figure in the international art scene, repeatedly awarded and exhibited at the most prestigious fairs around the world.
Under this name, the artist chooses freedom and anonymity to return to the essentials: pure emotion, the direct relationship between the artwork and the viewer.
Connoisseurs already know that some works signed with his/her real name reach gallery records, surpassing €15,000, and are part of private collections in Paris, London, New York, Monaco and Dubai.
Winner of several international distinctions for the excellence and singularity of his/her approach, he or she has been honored in Florence, Barcelona, Geneva and New York for contributions to contemporary art.
His/her creations have been shown in group exhibitions alongside world-renowned artists at events such as FIAC (Paris), Art Basel (Switzerland), ARCO (Madrid), Art Miami and Art Shanghai.
PopLéa deliberately cultivates mystery: no public photos, no official interviews, only works that circulate discreetly among discerning collectors and selective galleries. This media silence has only fueled interest among contemporary art lovers seeking authenticity and rarity.
Each PopLéa work is unique, certified, and comes directly from the artist's studio.
It has never been exhibited or offered in a gallery before going on sale.
Some pieces from this series have already been acquired by collectors in Switzerland, France and the United States, confirming PopLéa's rapid rise in the international art market.
HOW TO FRAME:
The painting is sold unframed (for display purposes only), mounted on a wooden stretcher, and I recommend a float frame (American crating).
The artist Popléa:
If you possess this work, you have in your hands an authentic piece signed Popléa.
But you should know: Popléa is a pseudonym.
He or she has not yet revealed their identity — deliberately. This choice is part of a broader artistic project, a form of experiment:
Create without a name, without status, without biography.
The work alone. The image alone. What it evokes. What you feel.
The artist behind PopLéa is already exhibited, recognized, collected — but wished to explore another path, freer. To refuse filters, codes, discourses.
To refuse that it is always the same people — galleries, experts, networks — who decide what has value.
Maybe what you own is the beginning of something.
Or perhaps it is simply a work that speaks to you, here and now.
Both options are beautiful.
And ultimately, perhaps that is the true luxury.
The work is accompanied by a paper certificate of authenticity.
The work is hand-signed, ready to hang, delivered in a 4x4 packaging with insurance included.
Happy bidding
