Description from the seller
Painting - "Anna" - 50 x 40 cm, varnish, oil on canvas, author certificate.
Author - Piotr Sujka (born 1971).
He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in the painting and mural (wall painting) department. He is primarily involved in sacred painting. Author of frescoes in churches in Albania (Tirana, Lezhe, Balldren, Shkoder, Derven and many others) where he lived and worked for 10 years. In Poland, author of frescoes in churches in Warsaw, Lublin, Łęczna, Puławy.
His passion is primarily figurative art.
In easel painting he predominantly focuses on the favorite subject of a woman, a portrait presented in a simplified manner, distant from realism but also distant from abstraction.
As a versatile artist, he paints landscapes en plein air, realistic, sometimes bordering on abstraction. Thus documenting the places where he stayed. The painting "Anna" dates from 2025. The painting was created on canvas with dimensions 50x40 cm.
