Description from the seller

Sunny oil painting in plein air, created in Catalan art, with an impressionist view toward Cala de Sant Francesc near Blanes. With loose brushstrokes and bright color use, Schaap captures the light and atmosphere of the Catalan coast.

Cor Schaap from Katwijk aan Zee mainly paints coastal and seascapes, with influences from Impressionism and Post-Impressionism. Since 2019 he has been working full-time as an artist, both en plein air and in his studio.

This fresh, sunny work is professionally framed in a wide, handmade tray frame by Prins Lijsten and ready to hang.
