Original diptych by Antonio Murado, Untitled - Diptico, oil on canvas, two panels, 86 × 122 cm, 2005, Spain, sold by Galería, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
Original work by the renowned Spanish artist Antonio Murado, created in 2005 and acquired at Metta Gallery.
It is an elegant and powerful diptych consisting of two canvases that converse with each other through chromatic contrast and atmospheric tension. In one piece, a deep, vibrant, vertical red dominates, crafted with glazes and transparencies that convey depth and movement. The second piece develops an organic, hazy atmosphere in greenish and yellow tones, with a texture that suggests expansion, matter, and an inner landscape.
The overall work has a strong visual presence, balancing intensity and contemplation, in keeping with the abstract and material language characteristic of the artist in the first decade of the 2000s.
