Busco’s IKB comme couleur is a unique blue abstract acrylic mixed‑media artwork (50 cm high by 40 cm wide), created in 2026, signed by the artist, from the Netherlands, with original edition, sold directly by the artist and in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
Inspired by the color International Klein Blue (IKB), this work came into being.
The French artist Yves Klein experimented with ultramarine pigment and a special fixative, polyvinyl acetate, then known as Rhodopas.
That, unlike ordinary fixatives, did not diminish the gloss (depth) of the color.
Unlike the usual blue paint in which the fixing fluid—the medium in which the colored particles are held—creates an optical reflection that undermines the effect stronger with ground pigment (less shiny), IKB, especially on three-dimensional objects, presents to the human eye with a grainy or fuzzy appearance.
The objects painted with IKB therefore appear powdery or very finely sintered.
All my works are unique and offered by me personally.
Many of my works are part of both corporate and private collections around the world.
The work is packed very carefully in a wooden crate and, after payment, shipped insured within 3 working days, provided with a track and trace code.
