Description from the seller
Set of 4 enamel cloisonné eggs on a gilded metal mount.
Charming complete set of four decorative egg-shaped boxes, made in cloisonné enamel on a gilded metal frame.
Each egg rests on an elegant tripod and opens with a hinged clasp.
Polychrome floral decoration hand-executed in the cloisonné tradition, rendered in different shades (white, black, pink and purple) accented with fine gold threads. The interior of each box is fully lined with a deep cobalt blue.
These small chests were intended to serve as ring boxes, pill boxes or miniature jewelry boxes.
Presented together, they make a pretty display piece for a vitrine.
Ideal decorative set for a collector or display in a showroom.
Overall good condition, light wear to the gilding and mounts, clasps functional, no major enamel chipping observed, normal signs of handling without significant aesthetic impact, see photos which are part of the description.
