Description from the seller

Traditional Indonesian kris (keris) with characteristic curved blade and richly carved wooden sheath (warangka). The blade has an elegant curve and is adorned with subtle engraved decorations along the back edge.
The blade shows a dark patina appropriate to age.

The grip is made of dark wood and beautifully carved with floral and stylized motifs.
The matching wooden sheath is also richly worked with leaf and wing ornamentation.
The shape of the upper side of the sheath is typical for Javanese or possibly Balinese style.
