Description from the seller
Flo Jaouen, an emerging artist, is a graduate of the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Her work is part of the Figurative Narrative movement. Fascinated by shapes and human expressions, she draws from the diversity of emotions and personalities as an inexhaustible source of inspiration. Her paintings go beyond mere representations of poses or actions; they deeply explore the states of mind and the interiority of her characters, creating private interiors, frontier surfaces, and zones of dialogue between consciousness and the unconscious, withdrawal and openness to others, identity and otherness. Flo Jaouen views her canvases as theater scenes where she becomes the director, guiding her characters through rich and complex narratives. Each creation is animated by the same joy and creativity that infused her childhood games when she invented imaginary universes. Today, this playful and imaginative approach is reflected in her works, where each canvas becomes the stage for a new human adventure. At the time I painted this canvas, I was interested in movement and expressionism. This work is painted with brush and knife. It sits at the border between abstract and figurative. With certificate of authenticity.
