This scale model contains the most recent additions to the solar system.
By using carefully calculated transmission ratios, the movements of the mechanical solar system closely correspond to those of the real planets.
As soon as the mechanical solar system is set in motion, the solemn procession of planets around the sun begins.
It is immediately clear at a glance that all the planets orbit the central sun, each with its own speed.
The planets include, in sequence, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Ceres, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Pluto, Eris.
The planet arms are firmly attached to the gear arms to allow them to rotate around. However, the planet arms can be unscrewed, and by hand placed in the same direction, so that the planetarium can be safely stored.
Also during shipping the arms are in one direction.

The planetarium is double-packed: first in a plastic box and then in a cardboard box.
