Description from the seller
Directly from the gallery "D uli - Arts"
This artwork is from the series "Homage to Yves Klein"
Yves Klein was, together with Andy Warhol and Jeff Koons, one of the co-founders of Pop Art.
His unforgettable "Blue Quadrat" with the most beautiful and intense blue I have ever seen.
All objects have been handmade by me in elaborate manual work.
The traces of handwork are visible on the object and reflect the uniqueness of each individual object.
The blue painting may differ slightly from the shown object
Hand-signed
The artwork is approx. 32/12/11 cm in Ultramarine blue matte on a black glossy base mounted
Ultramarine pigments achieve, with a formulation, a matte light-absorbing surface.
The less light in the room, the more intensely the blue glows
My artworks are presented at art fairs such as Cologne, Dresden, Frankfurt, Paris, Luxembourg, Hamburg, Munich, Monaco, Lyon, Strasbourg ...
My Pop Art connects art and everyday life.
An essential feature of Pop Art is the often trivial objects from daily life, from popular culture, media and advertising.
The motifs used are torn from their original context,
modified by me and thereby given a new life as a "work of art"
