Mickey Mouse - 25 extremely rare Spanish-language Mini comics - First edition - 1936

A unique piece of Disney history from the early days of comic book publication is being offered. It concerns 25 Spanish-language mini-comics featuring Mickey Mouse, but Donald Duck also appears in at least one issue.

All the booklets are first edition prints from 1936. A few years later these were reprinted, but these are the first. There were 5 series of 20 released. This lot contains booklets from series III, IV and V. For the numbers I refer to the photos.

The condition of the booklets I would classify as very good. Not written in, no creases, and the staples mostly still neat without excessive oxidation. The booklets are now 90 years old and age spots do occur. They were published in the year the Spanish Civil War began. In part because of this, these booklets are extremely rare.
