Description from the seller
In a wood-paneled bar with subdued lights, a woman with an Art Deco silhouette twirls her glass while a man, leaning at the counter, seems to weigh his thoughts. The bartender, in the background, orchestrates the scene like a discreet witness.
The treatment of materials — lacquered wood, glass reflections, dark fabrics — heightens the dramatic tension. The work evokes the aesthetics of the 1920s–1930s, between elegance and the fragility of nocturnal moments.
A refined neo-realistic painting, immersive, where the gaze moves as in a classic film.
