Description from the seller

On a New York rooftop, a woman in a green dress rests on a chaise longue while a kneeling man seems to seek an answer in a fragile gesture. The Empire State Building dominates the composition as a vertical presence, almost symbolic.
The cocktails, the bricks, and the city lights build a setting that is at once intimate and monumental. The work questions human relationships in the vastness of the city.
A powerful neo-realist painting, with controlled emotional tension.
