These are authentic historical newspapers from the late 19th century. In nearly all copies the date and stamp are clearly visible.

Interesting headlines among others:
• “Märzfeier der deutschen Sozialisten zugleich Gedächtnisfeier für Karl Marx”
• “Die neue Schrift von Fr. Engels.”

Additionally includes a supplement to No. 1 “Sozialdemokrat.”

Issue No. 1 itself is unfortunately not present.

Thus the newspapers are especially interesting for collectors of historical press, socialism history, Marx- and Engels-research as well as archives.

Condition:
The preservation state varies with age (over 140 years old):
• about 60% in normal condition
• about 40% in poorer condition

Partially with age-typical signs of wear such as tears, stains, paper brittleness or missing parts. Please refer to the photos.

Origin:
The newspapers were found under floorboards during the dismantling of an old house.

A rare opportunity to acquire an original collection of the socialist press of the 19th century.
