Description from the seller

Silver gelatin photographic print by Don Hunstein (1928-2017) - Bob Dylan - Title: "Dylan Unplugged". High-quality gallery YellowKorner print mounted and framed.

Superb and rare silver gelatin photograph in a limited, numbered edition exceptionally issued by the YellowKorner gallery from the original photographic work of Don Hunstein from 1963, the date when he shot this portrait of the famous singer Bob Dylan in his New York apartment on West 4th Street.
This photograph has not been available for sale for a long time. All prints have been sold.

Don Hunstein’s photographs have become symbols of an era. During his 30 years at Columbia, his work was unmatched; he photographed many major moments in music history. Bob Dylan began his career in 1959. His most famous compositions date from the 1960s. He sings anti-war songs that show folk, country but also blues or rock'n'roll influences. In 1963, Dylan released his second album The Freewheelin'. It features many engaged songs. For the first time, Dylan mainly interprets his own compositions, including the famous Blowin’ in the Wind.
If the songs of this singer-songwriter became true anthems, the iconography associated with Dylan also helped build the legend.

A superb collectible photograph for music and Bob Dylan fans.
