Description from the seller

Up for auction is a very ancient pair of mirror frames. They are presumably dated to the 18th century, made of wood with a very old gold leaf finish and a trace of cobalt blue threading in the inner light area.
Both frames show a patina of age, old signs of past restorations, and traces of ancient cracks.
There are also small losses observed, but this is completely normal for objects this old.
An irregular craquelure is also visible across the entire gilding.
See photos.
The mirrors have been replaced.
There are antique hooks and a sense of antiquity.
Beautiful, ready to be displayed.
Very fast and well-protected shipping.
