Our book up for auction is the “TREATISE ON THE SCIENCE OF THE KABBALAH (Treatise Treatise da Sciencia Cabala)”, the work of the great Portuguese author Don Francisco Manuel de Melo (1608-1666), which reveals to us a tradition related to hidden, esoteric knowledge about God and His world, transmitted by word of mouth and generation after generation from time immemorial by select Jewish scholars.

CONDITION: Gorgeous full morocco leather binding in very good condition, with some wear as shown in photos. Five raised bands on the spine decorated with brilliant gold vegetal motifs and red morroquine spine label with the title in gold lettering. Red-stained edges.

The interior of the book is also in very good condition, as shown in the photos, and is illustrated with some beautiful initial letters. EXCELLENT COPY.
