Mercedes Gilaberte - Caballo

Mercedes Gilaberte. From a very early age, she stood out at the National School of Ciudad Pegaso. She was awarded scholarships for study.
• 1989–1990 – She studies ceramics (Centro Cultural Antonio Machado).
• 1991–1993 – She studies Drawing and Painting (Centro Cultural de Hortaleza).
• 1993–1994 – She pursues training studies (C.E.A.S. Canillejas).
• 1994–1995 – She studies photography (C.E.A.S. Canillejas).
• Since 1997 – She belongs to the Circulo de Bellas Artes in Madrid.
• Since 2010 – She participates in Literary Workshops.
• 2015 – Summer workshop Narrative Writing at the Circulo de Bellas Artes.

In 2021 she published her first book You Are My Shadow and
Creates illustrations for a book and a story at Círculo Rojo publishing house.
She published her second book FINDING MY STAR in 2024.
In 2025 she participates in the Carabanchel Book Fair (Madrid).
• She exhibits collectively at the Circulo de Bellas Artes in Madrid on the 6th floor from May 5 to 17, 2025.

Spanish artist who studied at the Circulo de Bellas Artes in Madrid, refining her painting and drawing skills. Visiting studios and art galleries. Developed a style full of color that is realistic and figurative. She has more than thirty-five exhibitions both national and international. Her work is in private collections.
