Silver - Ring - Fu - Happiness

835/1000 Silver ring which is partly gilded and set with a carved red cinnabar. In the cinnabar is carved the Chinese character Fu, which means 'luck'. The central piece of the ring is entirely made of very refined filigree in a woven and floral motif.
In Chinese culture the color red symbolizes joy and gold (color) stands for wealth and prosperity.

Ring size: 19.50 mm / 61 (EU) / 21 (IT) / 9 ½ US (slightly adjustable)
Dimensions of the central piece: approx. 21 mm.

Mark: Silver

Quality: The gilding is largely worn. The ring is open at the back and thus somewhat adjustable. Wearing and usage signs in keeping with age and use. For your own impression, see photos.
