Signed on the plate lower right.
L'Estampe Moderne's blind stamp on the bottom right corner.
Dimensions:
+Size of the sheet : 40,5 x 30,5 cm / 15,9 x 12 in.
+Size of the image : 34 x 22,7 cm / 13,4 x 8,9 in.
Condition: In overall good condition, with light handling creases to the edges, two tears, and discoloration in the lower margin (check pictures). Image otherwise very clean. Unframed.

Not unlike the Maitre de L'Affiche series, L'Estampe Moderne was a portfolio printed between 1897-98, published by Imprimerie Champenois, Paris, contained 24 monthly portfolios, with four original lithographs in each. Each was commissioned only for this series.
As well as Mucha, some of the contributing artists included Rhead, Meunier, Ibels, Steinlen, Willette and Grasset.
