AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Andor Koncsik is a Hungarian-born artist currently based in Dublin. From an early age, he was instinctively drawn to making - crafting figures from wooden sticks, twisting paper clips into sculptural forms, and constructing small worlds from found materials. Art was never simply just a pastime; it was a way of perceiving and engaging with the world more intricately.

"Somewhere over' 40X50cm, rich in texture, comes with Andor made frame.
The frame itself is made from upcycled wood and vintage crackle-effect paint.

"Somewhere over" presents a layered abstract in muted earth tones, punctuated by a band of verdant green and a weathered red ridge. Textured surfaces and raised seams convey slow erosion and the passage of time, while a soft, worn upper field provides a calm counterpoint. The tension between tactile lower layers and the serene top plane gives the work depth and presence. Framed for easy display, it’s a refined choice to bring character and quiet energy to your space.

The inspiration of this picture is my home town in Hungary. My childhood when I woked up in early spring mornings and went to walk.
The sun was just coming up true the misty fog.
Always loved that moments.
Because I like to expiremt with new materials I used tin foil to get this interesting 3D texture for the line of the horizon and to give some industrial look to it, also my breakfast sandwich was always packed in tin foil on this morning walks.
Just sit down unpack the breakfast and enjoy the sunrise.
