Description from the seller
Note Sottili - Anna Barone
Abstract work created with transparent glazes and light layering that evoke suspended organic fragments in space. The shapes float like petals blown by the wind or particles in water, creating a delicate balance between presence and void.
The composition develops through natural tones – dusty pink, deep blues and soft greys – enriched by a discreet hand-applied gold leaf detail, which introduces a point of light and vibration.
An ethereal and contemporary piece, designed for bright and elegant environments, capable of conveying lightness and harmony.
Signed in pencil on the front, signed and dated on the back. Certificate of authenticity included.
Artist Statement
My work explores the fluid nature of water and its ability to generate forms, movement and light. Through watercolors, inks and light glazes, I translate this energy into abstract visions that evoke calm, mystery and introspection.
I paint landscapes of the unconscious: suspended horizons, reflected trees, inner blossoms. Each work is an invitation to slow down, to get lost, to “breathe with the eyes.” I let the water guide the process, embracing imperfections and ephemeral traces as fragments of truth.
Welcome to my dreams on canvas.
