Description from the seller

Exclusive inlaid table made with various precious marbles and a central chessboard pattern from the early 1900s.
Suggestive, sophisticated, beautiful in appearance and in form, it stands out for the particular workmanship carried out exclusively by hand and the special marbles used to create the refined octagonal geometric motif.

The special inlays are made with Carrara Marble, Portogallo Pink Marble, Alp Green Marble, Portoro Black Marble, Daino Reale Marble, Sicilia Red Marble and Venezia Red Marble.
A splendid central geometric motif includes a chessboard.
All the inlays of the top are firmly held by a robust eight-slab marble support made specifically for it. (See photo of the top turned over).
The table is supported by a pedestal (Red and Carrara Marble) that rests on a stepped square base also made with several types of Marble. The heavy base ensures excellent stability.
The table presents with all corners rounded; this gives soft lines and a fascinating design.

The table is divisible into two pieces, top and leg. The top fits perfectly onto the leg’s top thanks to two dedicated joints, becoming a solid and stable unit.

The combination of multicolored marbles and the chessboard top creates a striking visual impact. Used as a table, lamp-table, chess table will add charm and refinement to any space.

Important dimensions:
Height 77 cm.
Top width 75 cm
Top depth 75 cm.
Weight 65 kg.

Will be shipped carefully packed and on a wooden pallet.
