This work of 30 x 30 cm is entitled 'Freedom Of Speech'. It shows a man enjoying a Christopher Wool inspired painting of the phrase 'You Have The Right To Express Our Opinion.'
The work dates from 2026 and is made with acrylic on panel. Signed on the back and comes with a label of the artist as well as a Certificate Of Authenticity.
About the artist
Gerard Boersma has been an internationally acclaimed artist for over 24 years well known for his colorful and detailed style of realistic painting, in which he expresses both his concerns and his love for contemporary society. His art is in museums, galleries and private collections worldwide (6 continents, >30 countries). In 2018 he showed his works alongside Warhol, Haring, Banksy and others at a group show in France. He lives in Leeuwarden and works in Makkum, the Netherlands.
