Fully framed in a black and grey brushed aluminum frame with a double mat and anti-reflective, UV-protective glass
Dustproof finish of museum quality.
With hanging system, but due to the thickness of the frame it can also be placed upright.
James Rizzi was born in 1950 in Brooklyn. He studied at the Florida art academy (Gainesville), where he began experimenting with painting, printmaking, and sculpture. In Rizzi’s work you often encounter his birthplace New York. The paintings sometimes look childishly naïve, with bright colors and radiant cheerfulness. In the art press he is often labeled as an ‘Urban Primitive Artist’. Rizzi says he himself has been influenced by Picasso, Klee and Dubuffet.
