A peaceful & minimalistic seascape from the Full Moon series, created in 2021 during a challenging period in the artist's life. The work explores the duality between reality and fiction and the solace and meaning one can find in nature. Print number 13 from a small edition of 30.
The print has an embossed artist stamp on recto and is signed & numbered on verso. The lot includes a signed & numbered Certificate of Authenticity. The print will be shipped flat, insured, protected in acid free materials in a super rigid packaging.
Lichtenberg's moonlight images are present in numerous art collections worldwide. They have recently received an honorary mention by Marion Tandé of MoMA NY and been selected for many international awards including: The Renaissance Photography Prize, International Coloraturas Awards, Aesthetica Art Prize and Life Framer.
André Lichtenberg work has been exhibited in museums and private galleries worldwide, including the Barbican Centre London in 1998, Centre Pompidou/IRCAM, Paris in 2015/16 and Fabrica, Brighton in 2018.
