Description from the seller
Luca Traff (1998) is an artist half Italian and half Argentine, 26 years old, who currently lives in Milan, Italy. He studied fine arts in Buenos Aires, Argentina from the age of 17 to 20, abandoning his studies to pursue his career self-taught. Using painting as his main discipline, Luca explores his technique in a versatile and expansive manner, because he does not want to feel the self-imposed rules in order to respect an aesthetic. This is how his painting can be versatile and adapt to different genres to meet the needs of his expression. Some of the painting genres that typically appear on his canvases range from abstract expressionism, through geometry, and up to Cubism. He finds in this a freer way of working.
His themes generally reflect on the body, thoughts, memory, and time. Luca has exhibited in various venues since the start of his career, both individually and collectively.
The indicated measurements are those of the leather placed on a frame (the actual measurements of the canvas account for 5 cm on each side to properly perform the framing work). The painting is done on a professional 450 gsm canvas.
