AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Eduard Micus (1925, Höxer-2000, Ibiza)

Born in Germany, Micus began to develop his artistic ability from childhood, after an accident that left him bedridden for a while. He studied at the Stuttgart Academy under the tutelage of painter Willi Baumeister between 1948 and 1952. In 1972 he decided to relocate permanently to the island of Ibiza, which he had already visited before thanks to the invitation of Erwin Bechtold. There he finished developing his style, characterized by opposition and contrast, which often appears in his work through a dividing line.
