Description from the seller

Hein van Doren (Düsseldorf 1930 - 2003) dedicated himself as a painter from the Lower Rhine entirely to the interior of the 17th century, preferably in a Dutch mood. In doing so, he paints in detail and humorous gentlemen's circles, but also individual figures, such as kitchen maids, smokers, etc. He received his training from Albert Henrich, the president of the Düsseldorf artists’ group founded in 1949.

Typical subject in good condition. Two small cracks in the middle ground have been repaired, they are not noticeable. The painting has a wooden frame, which shows only a few signs of aging. It comes, as always, as a gift.

Framing size: 60 x 50 cm
