Oil painting on jute canvas by Neapolitan painter Ferruccio Gianni. The work depicts the interior of a rural courtyard with a mother and her child intent on feeding the chickens. There are then all the typical things of the place, such as various carts, a wheelbarrow, the barn full, and a barrel in the foreground. The whole scene, like a snapshot, describes the farming world.
