In my work, I mix vibrant acrylic paints and natural pigments to create an abstract and symbolic representation of a summer evening. Bold brushstrokes and the contrasts between warm and cool tones give a sense of energy and movement, as if the wind were rustling through the leaves. I want to bring this vitality into your space, a touch of summer that lasts all year round.

Inge Grünel-Pfaff grew up in a painting studio and enjoys experimenting with acrylic paints. Her art is characterized by an interplay between brush techniques, spatula work, and pouring, through which she often applies multiple layers of paint to her canvas. She typically begins her realistic portraits with the eyes and builds the subject around them to create life and depth. Her vibrant choice of colors and the joy her painting spreads contribute to bringing “color into your life” and to making those who look at it smile.
