Description from the seller
Artwork mounted on a frame
In this work, I combine acrylic, charcoal, and organic materials
toward a dynamic representation of freedom and natural impulse.
By using pop art and realism, I capture the vibrant essence
of a seagull spreading its wings, whose wings touch the water in an
almost choreographic movement.
Bright colors and fluid lines symbolize
the infinite energy and the purity of the moment.
This painting is meant to inspire viewers
to appreciate the beauty of spontaneous movements
and feel the untamed power of nature.
Inge Grünel-Pfaff grew up in a painting studio and loves experimenting with acrylic paints. Her art is characterized by an interaction between brush techniques, spatula use, and pouring, through which she often applies multiple layers of paint on her canvas. She usually begins her realistic portraits with the eyes and builds the subject around them to create life and depth. Her vibrant choice of colors and the joy her painting spreads contribute to bringing “color into your life” and to making those who look at it smile.
