Description from the seller
Piece mounted on a frame
In this work, I sought to capture the raw energy and the ephemeral power of the sea. Using acrylic, I experimented with textures and contrasts to reflect the duality between tumult and tranquility. This semi-abstract painting is not just a representation of the sea, but an evocation of the immensity and the untamable force of nature, thus adding a dynamic and inspiring presence to any space where it is on display.
Émilie Cerles, a self-taught artist from Aveyron, creates abstract art using a variety of tools and materials such as water and white vinegar. She enjoys experimenting with the effects of these materials to create natural lines and reliefs, constantly seeking to discover new techniques. Through her works, Emilie Cerles pays tribute to her homeland, nature, and expresses her emotions using intuitive colors and shapes.
