Description from the seller
Work mounted on a stretcher frame
"Red Kiss", oil on canvas 60x80, 2024.
If the author of a work of art deems it necessary to explain it, that is a sign that it has disappeared.
Alessandro Morandotti
Giuseppe Pastore, Italian artist born in 1980, discovered painting at the age of 30, without formal training, but with a degree in physics. His scientific background, nature, and martial arts deeply influence his creativity. He began with acrylic in an action-painting style, then turned to oil and evolved toward abstract and three-dimensional compositions. He uses titanium white to explore light and depth in his series “Lux”... recently, light is in the spotlight. He experiments with styles such as pointillism and 3D effects, without following precise artistic models, while admiring passionate creators. Inspired by classical music, nature, and cosmic phenomena, he also practices photography and piano. Art helps him meet his personal challenges and express beauty through form and color. He avoids rigid planning, letting himself be guided by inspiration, while constantly perfecting his technique and production. His work follows four distinct compositional paths, each aiming to provoke an immediate aesthetic response.
