If the author of a work of art feels the need to explain it, that's a sign that it is incomplete. ~ Alessandro Morandotti, Minime, 1979/80
Giuseppe Pastore, an Italian artist born in 1980, discovered painting at the age of 30, without formal training, but holding a degree in physics. His scientific background, nature, and martial arts deeply influence his creativity. He began with acrylic in an action painting style, then moved to oil and evolved toward abstract, three-dimensional compositions. He uses titanium white to explore light and depth in his series “Lux”… recently, light is in the spotlight. He experiments with styles such as pointillism and 3D effects, without following specific artistic models, while admiring passionate creators. Inspired by classical music, nature, and cosmic phenomena, he also practices photography and piano. Art helps him meet his personal challenges and express beauty through form and color. He avoids rigid planning, letting inspiration guide him while continually refining his technique and production. His work follows four distinct compositional paths, each designed to evoke an immediate aesthetic response.
