Our standards:
- Each bonsai is equipped with a fertilizer basket containing organic long-term bonsai fertilizer.
- To determine trunk width, we place the measuring instrument at mid-height between the root collar and the first branch (see example image). In the case of multiple trunks, the widest one is chosen.
- All of our trees are planted in a substrate mix developed by us.
- Where possible, we reuse old packaging for shipping to be kind to the environment.
- The trees are watered before shipping, protected from drying out, and securely fixed inside the outer carton.
- Shipping is insured.
- We engage service providers who state they typically deliver within a maximum of 4 business days.
- We ship on the following Monday after payment is received on Catawiki to avoid weekend delivery delays.
