XTC presents Mc Banksy Red Boxed, a plastic and wood boxed framed artwork by France, 27 × 27 cm with a 6 cm depth, 2026 edition 10/20, in excellent condition, hand-signed, with a COA.
Description from the seller
Cornet de Mc Banksy in a box frame for a wall presentation by XTC.
A reinterpretation of a McDonald's cone, capturing all the delicacy of Banksy’s work with the abundance of McDonald’s, represented by the number of hearts.
This is not a cardboard McDonald’s cone; everything has been created from plastic materials and painted by XTC.
The frame is part of the artwork. It comes with a plastic display pane, and you can present it with or without as shown in the first and third photos.
Signed and numbered on the back out of 20, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
The piece sent may not be the exact one in the photo but will be similar.
Careful, tracked shipping.
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC has shaped his artistic world through an interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual research has evolved into a passion that had to be realized.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement through the subversion of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity expresses itself through the bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes collide with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermes, Veuve Clicquot champagne, and Caviar) and street art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes minerals.
He draws inspiration, among others, from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, advertising, and addictions in general.
All potential flaws or imperfections are an integral part of the artwork.
