XTC created the framed sculpture Mc Dollars red Boxed in 2026, an edition of 3/20 from France, made with plastics and wood, 27 cm square and 6 cm deep, signed by hand, with the frame as part of the artwork and a certificate of authenticity provided.
Description from the seller
Red and yellow McDollars cornets in a black frame for a wall presentation by XTC.
Distortion of the McDonald’s cone. This is not a cardboard McDonald’s cone; it is made from plastics and completely painted and varnished by XTC with fake banknotes.
The frame is part of the artwork. It is provided with a plastic glass, you can display it with or without, as in the first and second photos.
Signed and numbered at the back out of 20, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
The copy sent is not necessarily the one in the photo but will be similar.
Careful shipping with tracking.
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC has shaped his artistic universe through his interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual research has become a passion that was destined to materialize.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement, through the détournement (reinterpretation) of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity expresses itself through the大胆 staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes clash with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermes, Veuve Clicquot champagne or Caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes minerals.
He draws inspiration, among others, from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, advertising, and addictions in general.
All possible flaws or imperfections are an integral part of the artwork.
