An antique fruit basket is a Samson porcelain dish in Chinese export style, manufactured by Edmé Samson et Cie in the late 19th century.
Features: The dish is equipped with an openwork pattern (reticulation) and finely painted with floral motifs in pink, yellow and purple, embellished with gilded accents.
Style: The piece imitates the Chinese export style popular in the 18th century, a specialty of the Samson factory.
