Offered for auction is an elegant and highly collectible Omega Seamaster Cosmic, reference 135.017, powered by the reliable Omega calibre 601 manual-wind movement. This model belongs to Omega’s late-1960s Seamaster Cosmic series, known for its distinctive monocoque (one-piece) case construction and modern cushion-style design.
The Seamaster Cosmic line was introduced by Omega during the late 1960s as part of the brand’s effort to create contemporary sports-elegant watches with improved case sealing and durability. The Cosmic case design, characterized by its smooth integrated shape and rear-loading construction, became one of Omega’s most recognizable vintage case architectures.
