Description from the seller
MiLo – “All Dots, No Horizon”
A work by Amsterdam-based artist MiLo (1976).
“All Dots, No Horizon” reduces the composition to a single repeating gesture. Hundreds of white marks populate the dark surface, forming a rhythmic field that feels both systematic and instinctive. From a distance the painting reads as a unified pattern, while closer viewing reveals the subtle variations of each individual mark.
Without a horizon or spatial reference, the surface becomes an open field of signals and traces, balancing repetition with the quiet irregularities of the artist’s hand.
The painting can be displayed in multiple orientations according to the collector’s preference. The artwork will be rolled and carefully packed for shipment in a sturdy cardboard box or protective shipping tube.
