Description from the seller
MiLo – “Confluence”
A work by Amsterdam-based artist MiLo (1976).
“Confluence” evokes the moment where separate forces begin to merge into a shared structure. Dark masses and gestural blocks appear suspended within a pale field, while soft grey planes connect and guide the composition across the surface. What once seems fragmented gradually becomes unified, as if architectural remnants or distant formations are drawn together by an unseen current.
The composition balances density and openness. Dripping paint introduces gravity and movement, contrasting with the more stable geometric forms. This interplay creates a sense of tension between collapse and cohesion, inviting the viewer to interpret the scene as landscape, structure, or pure abstraction.
The work will be carefully rolled and shipped in a sturdy protective tube or box to ensure safe international delivery.
