Description from the seller

The koummya has a distinctive double-edged, curved blade (convex and concave edge), a wooden grip with a widening pommel (peacock-tail shape), and a sheath with raised ends for a belt. Your specimen features damascene-like inlay (koftgari).

Origin: Morocco, 20th century, worn as part of male dress (on the left side via a baldric). The decoration fits Berber craftsmanship from the Qajar-like period, often with silver or brass mounts.

Grip only: 14x5.5 cm
Blade only: 20x2.5 cm
Weight: 425 grams

In good condition.
