The cast bars have a classic square cast bar design. Cast gold bars have the advantage over minted bars that the surface is less susceptible to scratches. A gold bar produced by casting can be confidently handled, to feel the high specific weight of 99.99% pure gold in the hand, without fearing to damage the bar or affect it with fingerprints. Cast bars inherently have rounded edges and small solidification lines due to the manufacturing process. This makes every Au bar unique.
